Lavender/Black Mottled Bantam Cochins - Mill Bay BC
These heart breakers came to us from What's Cluckin' farms on Vancouver Island, and consist of lines going back to Joe Mazur. They are fantastic typed little birds, our 2018 breeding flock is all mottled and split to lavender, we have hatched and kept several lavender mottled chicks to bring into our 2019 breeding pen. They were supposed to have gone to our Alberta farm, but we got a little too attached to them in BC! They are very friendly, great little layers, feed efficient and have had excellent fertility 100% naturally (no human interventions at all including vent plucking - it's all them).

B/B/S/Chocolate/Mauve Mottled Bantam Cochins - Sherwood Park, AB
Our comical little flock of bantam cochins came to us from Phoenix Farms Heritage Breed Chickens in fall of 2017. They are hardy little birds who like to free range and get 'out and about', maybe even into a little trouble. They are great companions for our 3 year old son, who calls them his "special little chickens". This flock consists of blue, black, splash, chocolate and mauve in mottled and split to mottled. You may hatch from these guys an assortment of colours including blue, black, splash, chocolate, mauve in both mottled and split to mottled. They have also had great fertility and we do not intervene at all, it's all natural. This year we have hatched lots of splash and mauve chicks! In summer 2018 we are planning on adding 2 trios from Iron Creek who have imported their mottled bantam cochins from the USA, their birds have fantastic type and will be an awesome addition to our flock.
